Thankfully, I’ve been able to take classes in Isadora Duncan dance technique through zoom, again this summer on 6 occasions, 2,5 hours at a time. And without becoming sore! Here are some pointers that help me:

Regular practice: I have kept doing 1 hr practices on my own to a video weekly, throughout the year, besides yoga.
Enough sleep: I’ve understood through my own experience, how much a good night’s sleep before and after helps.
Rest: Not practicing every day allows for rest and rebuild. Something I learned lifting weights in my skinny era, in my 30’s.
Warm-up: I go for a walk first, to get fresh air and my blood pumping.
Eating well: Both before and after is a must. My lunch before practice, consist of for example gluten-free pasta with broccoli and tofu, or quinoa and tomatoes. And for my dinner afterwards, I like to eat a heavier meal with more protein, such as chicken breast and rice, or smoked salmon and boiled potatoes.
Hydrate: Drinking filtered water and pressed juice daily is a must. Just like adding electrolytes or a bottle of vitamin well.
Mindset: Most of all, it’s a matter of pushing my body more gently through the motions, that it now recognizes better. To feel what resistance to push through and what not. And softer.
How is your practice going?
