Not all of us are so lucky we can receive fresh flower garlands to wear every week, but at Telluselle Living Center and other places, we will sell a new kind of long necklace resembling one. Our lei is made of the founder’s own designed flowers cut out in bamboo, shaped like Plumerias to share aloha.
The lei will consist of about 100 small flowers and is made to symbolize the memories we make with friends and partners. All our customers will pay about 15 USD each, looking something like this, as a development of the first one made in late 2014.
I first drew my own and then got help through a Swedish architect firm to make petals by a guy called Ubbe, who works with making model houses.
Now I am looking into making a flower ready made whole, in one piece, with the same natural tilt a bamboo rod offers.
You can pre-order a lei by sending us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
